Hello. :)

My name is Sam Cooper.

I am a 24 year old male Aspie.

My passions and interests include music, philosophy and spirituality; I also have a potential interest in the human mind, especially variations of the mind i.e. Asperger's which I may explore in detail in the future.

I am a musician and can play the guitar. Music is my passion and I'm hoping to make a sufficient living out of it as an established Professional.
The style of music I enjoy lends itself to contemporary folk and elements of blues and country. I enjoy musicians who write profound lyrics and have a raw edge to them i.e. Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Fiona Apple, Townes van Zandt... these are the kinds of musicians I enjoy listening to mostly. :)
I also write songs and sing, and I perform songs I've written or learnt at gigs.

Philosophy is a new interest of mine in terms of learning knowledge about the topic. I'm currently reading a book called Sophie's World. My opinion of this book is that it's fantastic in many respects, from an educational point of view about the history of philosophy, little bits of general history and also for escapism and fantasy as well. Sophie's World isn't an easy read but I feel I'm reading it at a significant time in my life.

I enjoy quiet areas and the countryside.

I feel it would be nice to meet a woman with Asperger's with whom I can relate to, share interests with and hopefully form a good friendship and relationship with. :)
